PERi-PERi Meatball Pasta Bake

Ingredients
- 25g Nando’s Smokey BBQ PERi-PERi Rub
- 400g of your favourite meatballs
- 125g Nando’s Garlic PERi-PERi Sauce
- 800g passata
- 300g rigatoni or penne pasta
- 3 x tbsp oil
- 100g grated mozzarella
- A handful of basil leaves
- To serve
- Serve with a fresh, crusty baguette or garlic bread
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Add the meatballs to a baking tray with a tablespoon of oil and sprinkle with Nando's Smokey BBQ PERi-PERi Rub. Toss to coat and bake for 10 minutes, until golden.
- In another pan, bring the pasta to the boil and cook for 6 mins, until al dente. Then drain and stir into the sauce.
- Add the saucy pasta to a large ovenproof dish and top with the meatballs. Sprinkle the mozzarella over the top and bake for 20 minutes until it's golden and bubbling.
- Finish with basil leaves and black pepper.
