Ingredients

  • 25g Nando’s Smokey BBQ PERi-PERi Rub
  • 400g of your favourite meatballs
  • 125g Nando’s Garlic PERi-PERi Sauce
  • 800g passata
  • 300g rigatoni or penne pasta
  • 3 x tbsp oil
  • 100g grated mozzarella
  • A handful of basil leaves
  • To serve
  • Serve with a fresh, crusty baguette or garlic bread

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Add the meatballs to a baking tray with a tablespoon of oil and sprinkle with Nando's Smokey BBQ PERi-PERi Rub. Toss to coat and bake for 10 minutes, until golden.
  3. In another pan, bring the pasta to the boil and cook for 6 mins, until al dente. Then drain and stir into the sauce.
  4. Add the saucy pasta to a large ovenproof dish and top with the meatballs. Sprinkle the mozzarella over the top and bake for 20 minutes until it's golden and bubbling.
  5. Finish with basil leaves and black pepper.
