Return to Blog

Last weekend saw the return of #RuleTheRoost in Manchester at Parklife Weekender, Heaton Park.

Friends of Nando’s turned up the heat with flaming-hot performances on top of our Cock o’ Van. Yes, our fiery food truck doubles up as a stage, fuelling hungry festival goers with sizzling sets whilst queuing for their PERi-PERi fix.

With Becky Hill, Jackmaster and Hannah Wants amongst those performing, the crowd enjoyed a medley of Extra Hot chicken and tunes throughout the weekend. Even Rudimental stopped by to watch Route 94’s show-stopping set! Meanwhile, over in Brighton at Parklife’s sister festival, Wild Life, we were backstage feeding some our favourite artists. Mark Ronson, JME and Skream were all spotted tucking in to Nando’s goodness before their performances at the brand new festival.

Now the festival season is truly underway, we’re ready for a summer of more chart-topping beats and spicy chicken. Our next stop will be in the UK’s capital, where we’ll be taking the Cock o’ Van to London’s coolest boutique festival, Lovebox. Join us on 16th and 17th July to see even more talented artists #RuleTheRoost. See you there!
